Bold crimson rivers and deep cobalt pools hint at a hidden cat in abstract motion.
Red & Blue Abstract Art Print: There Was a Cat Somewhere – Order Yours by Arthur Dovewd
Make it yours today. A ribbon of vivid crimson runs through this abstract scene, carving paths between creamy yellows and cool whites while deep pools of cobalt gather at the edges. Small pebble-like accents in lilac and ocher float across the surface, adding rhythm and pause. The paint feels tactile and layered, with marbled swirls and subtle shifts in tone. Linger a moment and a cat-like contour seems to appear and fade again, a playful suggestion hidden in the organic shapes and flowing lines.

What Our Customers Say
Thanks for the fast shipping. It arrived just in time for the 18th birthday! :)
Over the years, I have used the free software with full satisfaction, but now I have purchased the professional edition of Foto-Mosaik-Edda. It works wonderfully, I almost lack the imagination to create beautiful artworks. (I have meanwhile gathered a collection of 171 types of Tiles.)
Delivery time was very short! The quality of the product and the packaging were very good.
Premium Materials:
Select from premium materials: a silk-matte poster with UV protection, a framed poster in black, white, or natural wood ready to hang, a canvas on a sturdy 2 cm stretcher frame, glossy acrylic glass for depth and shine, ultra-flat Alu-Dibond for a gallery look, or lightweight, stable foam board. Each option is produced with high-color, crisp detail.
Your Artwork
in just a few steps
Here’s how it works: choose your size, pick your finish, and preview the result on the page. Decide on a frame color if you want it framed, confirm your details, and place the order. No account needed, clear pricing from the start, and your print is crafted locally and shipped safely to your door.
Get inspired...
Look closer at the motif and you’ll notice the movement. The red passage feels like a current, the blues like calm water pockets, the pale zones like islands of light. The lilac stones add gentle contrast, guiding your eye along the surface. It’s abstract enough to stay open to interpretation, yet suggestive enough that the idea of a hidden cat keeps the piece playful and memorable.

Shipping Method: Standard
We aim to use our resources as efficiently and eco-friendly as possible, so it takes up to three business days to produce your picture. After that, the picture will be shipped via standard delivery the next day. The shipping time by the delivery service usually takes between one to five business days (for bulky goods, such as large canvas/acrylic/Dibond formats).
Shipping Method: Express
Like with standard shipping, we aim to optimize production capacities for express shipping
and minimize excessive waste and constant switching between different product types.
Therefore, we allow up to three business days for production. After production,
the picture is shipped express and should arrive the next day. The costs are passed
directly to you without any markup.
Note: Express shipping is unfortunately not available for certain products – you can see if it is available in the cart.
Shipping Method: Priority Express
With Priority Express, or express production, we pause ongoing production
for a product type and prioritize your picture for same-day production
(if the order is received before 8:00 AM). As this interrupts our workflow,
it incurs a significant additional effort for us. This effort is charged
with an express production surcharge. After production, your picture is express
shipped and should arrive the next day.
Note: Priority Express shipping is unfortunately not available for certain products – you can see if it is available in the cart.
Payment Options
We make payment easy. Choose from a wide range of payment options, including payment by invoice, PayPal, credit card, and more. Our shop requires no registration or customer account. Pay in just a few clicks, and we'll start producing your personalized artwork.
