Cassatt’s quiet scene: a woman seals a letter beside blue hues and trailing ivy.
The Letter (1890–91) Art Print by Mary Cassatt – bring this reading scene to your wall
Start your custom print and bring this quiet moment home. The artwork shows a woman in a richly patterned blue dress, pausing to seal or read a letter with quiet focus. A pale wall sprinkled with teal vines surrounds her, while a warm wooden desk with a triangular blue writing surface anchors the scene and holds a waiting sheet of paper. Soft blush tones at her collar soften the palette. Balanced lines, tactile patterns, and gentle color contrast capture intimacy, reflection, and the grace of everyday life.

What Our Customers Say
Thanks for the fast shipping. It arrived just in time for the 18th birthday! :)
Over the years, I have used the free software with full satisfaction, but now I have purchased the professional edition of Foto-Mosaik-Edda. It works wonderfully, I almost lack the imagination to create beautiful artworks. (I have meanwhile gathered a collection of 171 types of Tiles.)
Delivery time was very short! The quality of the product and the packaging were very good.
Premium Materials:
Select from premium materials: semi-matte poster with UV protection, framed poster in black, white, or natural wood, canvas on a sturdy 2 cm frame, Aluminum Dibond for a sleek gallery look, lightweight foam board, or luminous acrylic glass with fine-art printing. All options come color-true, durable, and ready to hang.

Get inspired...
This motif, known as The Letter (1890–91), blends crisp outlines with delicate pattern play and a thoughtful, close-up composition. The flattened perspective and ornamental wallpaper draw the eye to the intimate gesture at the center. Blue, teal, blush, and wood tones create a calm, balanced mood that feels both refined and approachable.

Shipping Method: Standard
We aim to use our resources as efficiently and eco-friendly as possible, so it takes up to three business days to produce your picture. After that, the picture will be shipped via standard delivery the next day. The shipping time by the delivery service usually takes between one to five business days (for bulky goods, such as large canvas/acrylic/Dibond formats).
Shipping Method: Express
Like with standard shipping, we aim to optimize production capacities for express shipping
and minimize excessive waste and constant switching between different product types.
Therefore, we allow up to three business days for production. After production,
the picture is shipped express and should arrive the next day. The costs are passed
directly to you without any markup.
Note: Express shipping is unfortunately not available for certain products – you can see if it is available in the cart.
Shipping Method: Priority Express
With Priority Express, or express production, we pause ongoing production
for a product type and prioritize your picture for same-day production
(if the order is received before 8:00 AM). As this interrupts our workflow,
it incurs a significant additional effort for us. This effort is charged
with an express production surcharge. After production, your picture is express
shipped and should arrive the next day.
Note: Priority Express shipping is unfortunately not available for certain products – you can see if it is available in the cart.
Payment Options
We make payment easy. Choose from a wide range of payment options, including payment by invoice, PayPal, credit card, and more. Our shop requires no registration or customer account. Pay in just a few clicks, and we'll start producing your personalized artwork.
