Self-portrait with bandaged ear and pipe, vivid strokes on a glowing red backdrop.
Van Gogh Self-Portrait Art Print – Bandaged Ear & Pipe – Order Yours Today
Create your print now. The artwork shows a thoughtful figure in a heavy green coat and dark fur hat, a fresh white bandage wrapped around one ear. A small pipe rests at the lips, releasing delicate curls of smoke that drift across a vivid orange‑red background. Cool blue‑green eyes meet the viewer with a quiet steadiness, while bold, textured brushstrokes shape the hat, coat, and skin. The strong contrast between the warm backdrop and the cool clothing gives the portrait a compelling, immediate presence.

Get inspired...
Look closer at the image and you’ll notice energetic, directional strokes that model the face, then loosen into smoke and background. The red field hums behind the figure, while deep greens anchor the coat. The subtle asymmetry of the bandage and the steady gaze create tension and calm at once—an intimate studio moment from the late 19th century captured with expressive precision.

Shipping Method: Standard
We aim to use our resources as efficiently and eco-friendly as possible, so it takes up to three business days to produce your picture. After that, the picture will be shipped via standard delivery the next day. The shipping time by the delivery service usually takes between one to five business days (for bulky goods, such as large canvas/acrylic/Dibond formats).
Shipping Method: Express
Like with standard shipping, we aim to optimize production capacities for express shipping
and minimize excessive waste and constant switching between different product types.
Therefore, we allow up to three business days for production. After production,
the picture is shipped express and should arrive the next day. The costs are passed
directly to you without any markup.
Note: Express shipping is unfortunately not available for certain products – you can see if it is available in the cart.
Shipping Method: Priority Express
With Priority Express, or express production, we pause ongoing production
for a product type and prioritize your picture for same-day production
(if the order is received before 8:00 AM). As this interrupts our workflow,
it incurs a significant additional effort for us. This effort is charged
with an express production surcharge. After production, your picture is express
shipped and should arrive the next day.
Note: Priority Express shipping is unfortunately not available for certain products – you can see if it is available in the cart.
Payment Options
We make payment easy. Choose from a wide range of payment options, including payment by invoice, PayPal, credit card, and more. Our shop requires no registration or customer account. Pay in just a few clicks, and we'll start producing your personalized artwork.
